The Swissotel is located in the center of the city in a park setting on the European banks of the Bosphorus. The spacious gardens of the hotel were previously the gardens of the Dolmabahce Palace, which was the last residence of the Ottoman Sultans. Situated on a wooded hilltop, the hotel commands panoramic views of the Bosphorus, Asian coast and the old city of Istanbul. Sixty-five percent of the guest rooms and most of the public space offer spectacular views of the Bosphorus. The elegant, full of light decoration of the hotel creates a relaxing ambience.
